Early Years Quality Manager

Hi, my name is Zaf, and I am an Early Years Quality Manager at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I have been a part of the team since 2014, originally as a Nursery Manager, and love working here because I am a part of a dedicated team, which has an authentic culture of ‘wellbeing’ that encourages communication, respect and celebrates openness.

My role involves assisting the settings to deliver excellent care and education creating a positive impact for children and families. I work closely with the franchisees, managers and external agencies such as local authorities to ensure the settings are compliant and offering excellent childcare services. Being in the sector for almost 21 years, I am truly passionate and committed to help leaders provide the quality experiences and education for young children, to prepare them for the next stage in their learning.

I am always eager to learn and develop my knowledge and skills through regular trainings and webinars. One of the trainings that I really enjoy delivering within the network is ‘Working with babies’ Through this training, I love to inspire practitioners to understand and build babies’ developing brain. 

Qualifications

I hold an Early Years Foundation Stage Degree (level 5) and have worked in various roles and settings which includes schools, children’s centre and day nurseries. I have 6 years’ experience of leading an Outstanding nursery as a Nursery Manager.
