Group Financial Controller

Hi, my name is Rachel, and I am the Group Financial Controller at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I have been a part of the team since the end of 2024, and love working here because it allows me to see first-hand how Early Years has such a positive influence on children.

As the Group Financial Controller, I sit within the Executive team leading the finance department for Monkey Puzzle’s Nursery Group and Franchise businesses, while driving growth and stability through financial planning, operational efficiency and risk management, whilst ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

I have over 10 years’ experience in financial leadership and operations after qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in practice.

Get to know me

Outside of work and being a mum to my 2 cheeky children, I enjoy visiting new restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen, particularly making extravagant cakes for special occasions. And as an excel nerd, I secretly love a fancy spreadsheet outside of work too!
