Head of Early Years & Operations

Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am the Head of Early Years and Operations at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I have been a part of the team since March 2019, and have become an experienced Early Years Operations Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the education management sector, with over 28 years’ experience. I believe I am skilled in monitoring and supporting progress, have effective organisation skills, with experiences in strategic planning, budget management and leadership with a strong operations mindset.

In my role, I lead and support our Early Years Quality Managers. My role is to also support the nursery settings, and the team, in providing the best possible childcare and education throughout the network, whether that be through sharing my own knowledge and experiences or through delivering training to up-skill others​.

I love working at Monkey Puzzle because the company has never faltered on its ethos, vision, and values. The people are what make Monkey Puzzle a great place to work, collaborating with others and utilising everyone’s individual strengths to maximise the support and knowledge we offer to the network.

Qualifications

I qualified with my BTEC Diploma in Early Childhood Education back in 1997 and have continued with my own professional development and have since completed my NVQ 4 in Childcare & Education as well as a level 3 in Leadership & Management and currently working towards my AET (Awarding Education & Training).

Get to know me

I am a mum to 2 boys! A teenage human and a 3yr old Fur baby in the shape of a British Bulldog. A fun fact about me is that I am the vice chairperson and Child Welfare Officer for a local football team for which my son coaches and plays. I guess I have a passion for football!​
