Commercial Director

Hi, my name is Jamie, and I am the Commercial Director at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I have been a part of the team since July 2024, and I love working here because despite my role and my areas of expertise, I am passionate about the quality of childcare provided for our babies, toddlers and preschoolers.  I have worked in the sector before and love it.  Having been self-employed for 15 years I always knew that it would take something very particular to tempt me back into a full time employed role.  I love the people I work with and more importantly the sector we operate in.

My job role enables me to support the founders with commercial decisions in the business and drive the strategic priorities for the network and the group. As and when required I am available to work with franchisees on matters relating to business development and planning, as well as on all commercial matters.

Get to know me

I have been married for 20 years to the amazing Pippa and have a 20-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter.  Now they are more self-sufficient, I enjoy having more time to walk the dog, play golf when I can, watch the mighty Wycombe Wanderers as much as possible and make excuses to lose weight! A fun fact about me is that I used to run marathons…. A long time ago!
