New nurseries, new milestones for Monkey Puzzle
There's plenty to celebrate here at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries, as we've welcomed a series of new openings over these last few months, bringing the number of nurseries in our Monkey Puzzle family to an exciting milestone of 80 settings.
We've had four new nurseries opening their doors across the country. Monkey Puzzle Colchester, owned by existing franchisees Manjit and Sandeep Sandhu, was the first to welcome children in August, followed by Hassan Alquraini's new setting in Radlett in September. October has seen two more additions, with Tanvi and Anubhav Bhagat opening Monkey Puzzle St Albans and Sam El-Labban and Laila Ibrahim welcoming their first children at Monkey Puzzle Upminster.
And it's not just new nurseries making their mark. Existing franchisee Nitish Patel has also expanded Monkey Puzzle Enfield, opening a brand-new preschool space in the building next door, giving children even more room to play, learn and grow.
Keeping support at the heart of our network
For our managing director Grace Cole, the recent openings reflect the hard work and commitment of head office, franchisees and the nursery teams across the network: "It's absolutely fantastic to see so many new settings welcoming children and families over the past few months. Every setting brings a fresh opportunity to make a positive difference in each of the local communities they serve."
With our network continuing to expand, Grace believes it's critical to continue the high level of support we're known for: "As we grow, it's critical every franchisee receives the right level of expertise at every stage of their journey. For us, it's about building strong, sustainable businesses that provide the best possible start for children, rather than just a series of increasing numbers on a spreadsheet."
That support is helping our franchisees grow, with Sam El-Labban opening his second setting, Monkey Puzzle Upminster, in October: "The head office team have been a huge help, particularly when it came to finding the right property for Upminster. Having their guidance and support with the practical side of opening a new nursery has meant we could focus on our team and growing the business.
"Having been through the process with our first setting in Purley, we know how valuable that support is. Being part of Monkey Puzzle feels like joining a family rather than simply buying into a franchise. It's an amazing network to be part of, and knowing there's always someone to turn to makes a real difference."
A chance to celebrate
The Monkey Puzzle family will come together once again this November for our early years conference for franchisees and our senior leadership team at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Gerrards Cross.
"After such a busy few months, the conference is a great opportunity for our newer franchisees to get to know the wider network," added Grace. "I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone together and building on the momentum we've created this year.
"We've got plenty to celebrate, and it'll be exciting to look at how we can carry that progress forward into 2027."
If you're passionate about building a business that makes a real difference in your local community, we'd love to hear from you. Find out more about joining our franchise network and becoming part of the Monkey Puzzle family here.
